Vyoma Dhar Sharma is a former postdoctoral fellow with the Lancet Commission on Racism, Structural Discrimination, and Global Health. She holds a DPhil in international development from the University of Oxford. Her doctoral thesis examined the ideas and processes that sustain the “reproductive and child health” paradigm as the dominant view of women’s health in developing countries. Before her doctoral studies, she managed research and advocacy projects on reproductive and child health and health financing in Asian and African health systems. She holds a master’s degree in development studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India.
